Penultimate match of the fall season is a strong one by Leopards

EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team made their first competitive action this fall on Sullivan Courts a successful performance as they won all of the contested singles and doubles matches in a 7-0 victory over visiting Monmouth.

The Leopards did not drop a set and only one match featured a set that went to tiebreak. Sophomores Cecelia Lesnick and Samantha Snyder, juniors Meredith Block and Grace Conrad along with freshman Maureen McCormack all contributed to singles and doubles wins. Junior Katie Hill and sophomore Ruthie Wilson also picked up singles victories and sophomore Alexa Cooke teamed with McCormack for a win at No. 3 doubles.
