Leopards Host MACFA Event

Lafayette welcomed five other squads to KSC

EASTON, Pa. - The Leopards wrapped up a successful hosting of a Mid-Atlantic Collegiate Fencing Association event with a 3-2 record in the six-team field.

Lafayette defeated Yeshiva (22-5), Hunter (17-10) and Army West Point (17-10) and fell to Stevens Tech (19-8) and NJIT (22-5). The foil trio of Bora Mutis, Yiwen Cui and Captain Andrew Mange led the way with a perfect 9-0 record in the three victories.  Cui ended the day 12-3 and Mutis and Mage were each 11-4. In limited action due to injury, Ian Miller was 6-0 at Saber.
