Leopards are in a T-2 after 18 holes

ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Lafayette Men's Golf team has put themselves in position to contend for both the team and individual titles after 18 holes of the Navy Spring Invitational on the par-71 Naval Academy Golf Course.

The Leopards are in a tie for second place at 297, four shots behind leader Saint Joseph's. Leading the way for head coach Jim Hutnick's contingent were sophomore Cole Berger and freshman Ryan Tall, who both carded one-over rounds of 72 to have them one shot behind Binghamton's Ryan Rodriguez heading into the final day of the two-round event.

Other participants for Lafayette were Kazuki Osawa (76), Brendan Cronin (77) and Will Halamandaris (78).  Drew Steiner, competing as an individual, recorded a 77 to sit at T-31 in the 85-player field.

The Leopards will be paired with St. Joseph's and Binghamton and are scheduled to tee off between 11:30 - 12:06 in Saturday's final round.
