Nicholson Rounds Out Women’s Lacrosse Staff with Eilbacher

Leopards secure second assistant coach

EASTON, Pa. - Olivia Eilbacher is set to join the Lafayette women's lacrosse staff as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 season under Kristen Nicholson, who is in her first year at the helm.

"I'm excited to have Olivia joining us on College Hill! Her firsthand experience as an athlete who helped transform a program to an elite level is incredibly valuable and gives her a unique perspective that will help bridge the gap between coaches and athletes," Nicholson said. "She brings energy, passion for the game and an athlete-first mindset that will undoubtedly make our staff even stronger."

Eilbacher began her career in mid-2025 as a volunteer coach at Kutztown, helping the team achieve one of the most successful stretches in program history. She was elevated to a graduate assistant coach that December, playing a key role in multiple aspects of team responsibilities. She aided in the squad earning playing time in the PSAC championship and a 2026 NCAA quarterfinal appearance. Under her leadership, the team produced four all-conference honorees, five all-region selections and one all-American.

In Wyomissing, Pa., she coaches the 2030s of Roar Lacrosse Club while focusing on player development, game IQ and athletic success at the next level. Outside of collegiate sports, she helps direct Kutztown lacrosse day clinics and has been a graduate student and substitute teacher for two years.

Eilbacher graduated summa cum laude from Kutztown with a Bachelor's in Special Education. She holds a Minor in Case Management and is set to graduate in Spring 2027 with an MBA in Leadership and Business Decision-Making.
