Position: Athletic Development Intern
Hours: Will vary depending on season. Must be willing to work some nights and weekends.
Start/End Date: Interns are accepted throughout the year with start and end dates to be agreed upon by intern and supervisor
Pay: Not applicable (may qualify for academic credit)

Job Description:
- Partner with the Senior Assoc. Athletic Director for Advancement and the Assistant Athletic Director for Advancement to manage the annual giving operation in support of Lafayette’s 23 varsity sports
- Assist with all annual athletic solicitations
- Partner with head coaches and volunteers regarding management and scheduling as it relates to “Friends of” groups
- Assist with the planning and implementation of all alumni athletic events during the course of the academic year (alumni games, networking nights, tailgates)
- Serve on the Maroon Club Golf Classic committee and the Maroon Club Hall of Fame planning committee
- Form collaborative team partnerships with alumni relations, stewardship and head coaches in order to execute successful events throughout fiscal year
Required Qualifications:
- An interest in learning about how an Athletic Development operates at a Division I institution
- Strong proficiency in various social media vehicles
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Candidate should have a high level of energy and be team oriented
- An ability to work some nights and weekends
- An ability to take initiative and be self-motivated
