EASTON, Pa. – Senior outfielder
Easton Brenner has been named the Patriot League Baseball Player of the Week on Monday afternoon.
Brenner batted .700 (7-for-10) during the Leopards' series at Southern Miss. The Houston, Texas. native had five RBIs, seven hits, three doubles, a home run and he reached base 11 times in Hattiesburg. The Economics and Policy Studies major slugged 1.300 and recorded a .781 on-base percentage on the week.
The senior batted .263 last season and had 41 hits, 19 RBIs, eight doubles, a home run and 30 runs scored.

This marks the first weekly award for Brenner.
Lafayette continues its season on Friday at 4 p.m., when it travels to Western Kentucky to start a three-game series.
