Leopard Courts Virtual Tour
The Lafayette tennis team practices and plays the majority of its home matches on College Hill's Leopard Courts. Located on the southwest corner of campus, just a short distance from Marquis Hall, the courts are easily accessible and have ample parking for student-athletes and spectators alike.
In 2001, the Leopard Courts were one of 12 winners of the 17th annual Tennis Industry Court-of-the-Year contest, and recently underwent serious renovations, highlighted by a total resurfacing effort, new lights, and a retaining wall. A total of six outdoor hard courts comprise the facility which is used in both the spring and fall tennis seasons. Additionally, the Pete Tomaino Endowment Fund aided the program in arising a new scoreboard in 2017, aptly titled the Coach Pete Tomaino Scoreboard, through the help of alumni, friends and family of Lafayette tennis. It features scoring for all six individual courts as well as team and opponent totals on top.Â
When the weather takes a turn for the worse, the team practices and competes at Tennis Zone in Quakertown, Pa. and Courtside Racquet Club in Clinton, N.J.
