WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Three Lafayette women's tennis players advanced to the championship matches of singles comptetion at the Patriot League Flighted Tournament at Army on Saturday. The Leopards notched wins at the numbers three through five seeds in the semifinal round, and earned a berth in the No. 1 doubles championship match on Sunday.

Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms) cruised past Lehigh's Erica Feinman 6-2, 6-0 in her No. 2 seed semifinal match to face Lauren Erikson of Colgate on Sunday. Shannon Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) earned a berth in the No. 3 seed championship match against Colgate's Lorraine Coulter with a 7-5, 6-2 semifinal win over Lehigh's Lauren DeCarol. Freshman Monica Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpauk) will face Cyan Brakhage of Colgate in the No. 5 seed title match, thanks to her 6-2, 6-3 win over Andrea Scott of Lehigh.

Rowe and Fardshisheh also advanced to the championship match of the No. 1 seed doubles competition with a win over Colgate's Jen Buntman and Lorraine Coulter in the semifinals.
