WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Three Lafayette women's tennis players advanced to the championship round at the Patriot League Flighted Tournament at Army on Sunday but only freshman Monika Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpaupak) was able to walk away a victor, earning the No. 5 singles seed title.

Serrano recorded a 6-4, 6-1 win over Colgate's Cyan Brakhage in the championship match while her teammates Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms) and Shannon Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) both fell in their championship matches at the hands of two Colgate players.

The Women's Team Tennis Championship will be held at Bucknell on April 28-29.
