EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule with a 6-1 win over the visiting Towson Tigers on Wednesday. The Leopards finish their fall slate with a record of 8-1 heading into the Patriot League Flighted Tournament.

The Leopards (6-1) swept all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches from the Tigers (1-4) to give head coach Barbara Young her 299th career victory. Sophomore Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms) has a record this season of 7-0 as the No. 2 singles seed.

The Leopards head to Army for the Patriot League Flighted Tournament Oct. 14-15 and reconvene on the hardcourts in March for their main season.
