EASTON, PA - The Lafayette women's tennis team cruised to an easy 9-0 victory over visiting La Salle to open its spring season. The Leopards (1-0) won five of the nine matches in straight sets, and allowed La Salle just seven sets in the entire match.

Juniors Megan Rowe and Felicia Turturiello, and freshmen Lily Fardshisheh and Katie Gibbons all won their singles matches for Lafayette in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. Turturiello and senior Karen Meltzer combined for a No. 3 doubles straight set sweep as well.

The Leopards host Big East member Seton Hall on Tuesday, March 21, at 3:00 p.m.
