PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Lafayette (11-3, 2-0 Patriot League) was jinxed at #1.

The Leopards dropped both the #1 singles match and the #1 doubles match, but it mattered little, as the rest of Lafayette's team won in straight sets en route to a 7-2 victory over Drexel.

The only stiff competition the Leopards faced at #2 through #6 singles was at #3 singles, where Felicia Turturiello (Berkley Heights, N.J./Berkley Heights) won over Leah Fasemyer 7-5, 6-2.

Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms), Katie Gibbons (Berlin, Md./Stephen Decatur) and Vanessa Guinet (Juan-les-Pins, France/Blair Academy) all won in straight sets.

The Leopards look to continue their hot streak (winning five of their last seven matches) against Army, as the Cadets invade the friendly confines of the Lafayette courts tomorrow at 3 p.m.
