NEWARK, Del. - Freshman Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms) ran away with an easy 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 5 singles, but the rest of the Leopards (11-5, 2-1 Patriot League) didn't find the going so easy on the road, as they dropped to Delaware 5-1.

At No. 4 singles, Felicia Turturiello went to three sets with Erin Kamen, but in the end she ended up on the short end of the 10-7 last set tiebreaker they played due to time constraints. Turturiello's match was the only to go to three sets.

Lafayette returns to action this weekend in the Patriot League Team Championship held at the U.S. Military Academy.
