EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Leopards came out for their fall season on the attack, beating St. Joseph's 6-1 at the Northampton Country Club Tuesday. Lafayette saw all but one of its singles matches end in straight-set victories and the team swept the Hawks in doubles competiton.

Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms) was a 6-3, 6-3 winner over St. Joe's Lydia Thomas at the No. 2 singles spot and in the No. 3 position, Shannon Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) blanked Jill Simodejka, 6-0, 6-0.

Lafayette returns to the Northampton Country Club on Sept. 13 to host Monmouth. The Leopards are hosting the competition off-campus while the Sullivan Court facilities are renovated.
