HAMILTON, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Patriot League Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Colgate University with both teams finishing seventh.

Rian Landers led the way for the women, finishing 13th overall in 23:50. Laura Nann also recorded a top-20 finish, placing 17th in 24:01. Devon Landers (36th--24:56), Erin Wyble (40th--25:05) and Anna Sherman (45th--25:29) also finished in the points for Lafayette.

Seventhy-three runners competed on the women's side with Bucknell's Becki Marshall taking home the top spot in 22:40. Bucknell runners finished, 1,2,3 and the Bison won the women's team title.

The Lafayette men were led by Ken Poli who placed 43rd in a time of 27:23. Carlos Garcia finished five places behind Poli in 48th in a time of 27:26. Matt Taverna (51st--27:44), Colin McDonough (54th--27:50) and Matt Schleifer (59th--28:09) completed Lafayette's top five.

Seventy-two runners competed on the men's side with Army's Will Wyche beating out Lehigh's Alex L'Heureux by a second for the individual title. Wyche toured the course in 25:08. Army won the team title with four runners in the top 10.
