BOCA RATON (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's tennis team won its second straight match of the spring season, defeating Northwood College, 4-3. The Leopards were victorious five of the six singles matches en route to the non-conference victory.

Leopard freshmen Ali Kelley and Monika Serrano recorded victories in both singles and doubles action. Serrano was victorious at No. 5 singles, defeating Spriya Gutami, 6-2, 6-2, while Kelly won her No. 6 singles match over Carrie Shoemaker, 6-1, 6-0. The two combined for an easy doubles victory over their singles' opponents, 8-0.

Lafayette (9-2) returns action on Saturday, March 24, when the squad travels to Colgate for a 12 p.m. match.
