WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's Meghan Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) posted a hard-fought 1-6, 6-3, 12-10 victory over Army's Annie Weber in women's tennis action on Wednesday but it would prove to be the Leopards' only point of the match as they fell, 6-1, to the Black Knights at Lichtenberg Tennis Center.

Lafayette (11-4, 1-2 Patriot League) was swept in doubles competition and singles flights two through six to suffer just its fourth loss in 14 matches this season.

Army snapped its three-match losing skid to improve to 14-12 overall behind the play of Annie Collier who defeated Shannon Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) in No. 3 singles and teamed with Cheryl Hamilton to record an 8-3 victory in No. 1 doubles over S. Rowe and Lily Fardshisheh (Potomac, Md./Holton Arms).

The Leopards return home to host Coppin State on Monday at 3:00 p.m. in a non-conference match.
