LEWISBURG, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - After advancing to the semifinals of the Patriot League Women's Tennis Championships with a 4-1 win over Holy Cross, No. 3 Lafayette fell, 4-3, to No. 2 Colgate on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pa.
Seniors Meghan Rowe (Winchester, Mass./Winchester) and Felicia Turturiello (Berkely Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) along with freshman Monika Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpaupak) won their singles matches but Colgate was able to take two of the three doubles matches for the 4-3 victory and a trip to the finals against No. 5 Army which upset No. 1 seed Lehigh in the other semifinal match.
Lafayette finishes its season with an overall record of 15-5 and a 2-2 record in Patriot League play.
