JERSEY CITY, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's tennis team posted its fifth shutout of the season with a 7-0 victory over St. Peter's on Thursday afternoon.
Brett Warren, Ryan Collins and John Zazzu each remained undefeated for the Leopards (6-0) with wins at No. 2, 3 and 4 singles. Matt Coin posted a 6-0, 6-1 score in the top singles spot, while Jeremy Fehrs and Craig Helstowski won their first collegiate matches.
Coin and Zazzu then teamed for an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles, while Warren and Helstowski paired for an 8-1 decision.
Lafayette returns to action on Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. when La Salle visits Sullivan Courts.
