EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's swimming and diving team cruised to a 106-42 victory over visiting St. Peter's on Tuesday night at Ruef Natatorium.
Six different Leopards recorded first place finishes. Jenny Moerschbacher's win in the 1000 free placed her into this season's top-five with a time of 11:13.34. Also sliding into the top ten was Erin Rosensteel who finished with a time of 2:18.56 in the 200 back. Liz King swam a season-best 26.82 in the 50 free for the first-place finish.
First-year swimmers Jen Totten and Tory Littlefield continued their strong starts, swimming to top finishes in the 200 IM and 100 free, respectively.
Crissy MacDonald and Daniele Menard finished first and second in the 1-meter diving event for the Leopards.
Lafayette (1-2) hits the pool again on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Drexel.
