LEWISBURG, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's tennis team dropped a Patriot League match up to Bucknell, 7-0 on Thursday in Lewisburg, Pa.
Junior co-captains Lily Fardshisheh and Shannon Rowe combined at No. 1 doubles to win the lone Leopard match of the day over Bucknell's Jill Wurzburg and Nadezda Curcic, 8-3. Bucknell earned the team point from doubles by winning both the No. 2 and 3 match.
Sophomore Ali Kelley succumbed in three sets, 2-6, 7-6 (2), 10-6, at No. 4 singles for the lone three-set match of the day. Bucknell swept the top six singles matches as the Bison improved to 10-8 overall and 1-4 in league play.
Lafayette (11-4, 0-2) returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Colgate at 1 p.m.
