EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's tennis team fell, 6-1, to defending Patriot League champions Army on Wednesday at Sullivan Courts. The Leopards finished the regular season at 0-5 in league play and 12-7 overall.
Sophomore co-captain Ali Kelley recorded the Leopards' lone win in singles action with a straight-set win over Army's Jaclyn Ott, 6-1, 7-6 (5), at the No. 3 spot.
Sophomore Jessica Abel took her opponent to three sets but fell 1-6, 6-2, 6-2, to Army's Lauren Leftin at No. 4 singles.
