LANCASTER, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette claimed straight-set victories in five singles matches on its way to a 7-0 win at Franklin & Marshall on Thursday afternoon, giving the team its second consecutive victory.

Shannon Rowe and Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung won their first matches of the season at the No. 1 and No. 6 singles positions. Chez Saricas, Monika Serrano, Lily Fardshisheh, and Susan King each improved to 2-0 on the young season.

Serrano and Saricas teamed for an 8-0 shutout at No. 2 doubles, while Fardshisheh and Rowe improved to 2-0 in the top doubles slot.

Lafayette (2-0) plays host to Towson on Sept. 18 in a 2:30 p.m. match at Sullivan Courts.
