EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's tennis team stretched its undefeated streak to four matches with a 7-0 defeat of Monmouth on Tuesday afternoon at Sullivan Courts.
Coming off a weekend where four players won ECAC Championships, the Leopards continued their strong play by shutting out opponents in three singles matches. Brett Warren, Ryan Collins and John Zazzu each played 6-0, 6-0 matches.
Matt Coin, H'Cone Thompson and Dan Seward rounded out the singles sweep. The Leopards have not lost a singles match so far this season.
Coin and Zazzu and Warren and Helstowski also posted 8-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Lafayette (4-0) will host Coppin State on Sept. 30 at 2:30 p.m. at Sullivan Courts.
