EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's tennis team extended its undefeated streak to five matches with a 6-1 defeat of Coppin State on Monday afternoon at Sullivan Courts.
Brett Warren, H'Cone Thompson and Dan Seward each improved to 7-0 on the season with wins at No. 2, 3 and 4 singles respectively. Ryan Collins and John Zazzu added singles victories for the Leopards (5-0), while Matt Coin dropped a hard-fought three-set match to Madreadi Skinner.
Thompson and Seward also improved their No. 1 doubles record to 4-0, while Collins and Jeremy Fehrs won the third doubles for the Leopards.
Lafayette travels to St. Peter's on Thursday for a 4 p.m. match.
