WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team remained unbeaten in dual matches with a 6-1 victory at Monmouth on Wednesday.
The Leopards (5-0) won five of six singles matches, all in straight sets, and swept the doubles matches.
Peter Titus (Brightwaters, N.Y./Bay Shore) cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win at fifth singles, while Andrew Mott (Corpus Christi, Texas/Mary Carroll) and Craig Helstowski (Shrewsbury, Mass./Saint John) posted identical 6-2, 6-0 wins at No. 2 and No. 4 singles, respectively.
John Zazzu (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) was a 6-2, 6-4 winner at third singles, while Devin Murphy (Buxton, Md./Boys Latin School) improved to 4-0 in singles action with a 6-3, 6-0 win at No. 6 singles.
Lafayette returns to action on Monday, hosting Robert Morris at 3 p.m.
