EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team rolled to its second-straight 7-0 win on Thursday over La Salle.
The Leopards (5-2) took five singles matches in straight sets, won one by default and swept the doubles pairings.
Sophomore Chez Saricas (Stamford, Conn./Trinity Catholic) improved to 5-1 at first singles with a 6-1, 6-0 win, while freshmen Meghan Fitzgerald (Fairfield, Conn./Lauralton Hall Academy) and Mary Magellan (Rochester, N.Y./Allendale Columbia) picked up their first wins at No. 5 and No. 6 singles, respectively.
Monika Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpaupak), Ali Kelley (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) and Steph Rosman (Margate, N.J./Peddie) won at second through fourth singles, respectively.
Lafayette returns to action this weekend, playing in the Patriot League Flighted Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
