EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team swept all six singles matches and all three doubles matches in a 7-0 win over Saint Peter's at Sullivan Courts on Thursday.
The Leopards won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Freshman Andrew Mott (Corpus Christi, Texas/Mary Carroll) raised his singles record to 4-1 by picking up his first win at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-0.
Junior John Zazzu (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) and sophomore Craig Helstowski (Shrewsbury, Mass./Saint John) raised their singles records to 3-1 after picking up their first wins at second and third singles, respectively.
Senior Devin Murphy (Buxton, Md./Boys Latin School), sophomore Peter Titus (Brightwaters, N.Y./Bay Shore) and sophomore Jeremy Fehrs (Huntington, N.Y./Huntington) were winners at fourth through sixth singles, respectively.
The Leopards hit the road on Friday, traveling to Fordham for a 2 p.m. match, then return to Easton on Saturday for a 1 p.m. match with Franklin & Marshall.
