BRONX, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team cruised to a 6-0 victory over Fordham on Friday.

The Leopards won all six singles matches, five in straight sets. The teams did not play any doubles matches.

Freshman Andrew Mott (Corpus Christi, Texas/Mary Carroll) picked up his second win at first singles, 6-2, 6-4.

Sophomores Craig Helstowski (Shrewsbury, Mass./Saint John) and Peter Titus (Brightwaters, N.Y./Bay Shore) were straight-sets winners at third and fourth singles, respectively, while junior John Zazzu (Belle Mead, N.J./Montgomery) won a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 decision at No. 2 singles.

Seniors Devin Murphy (Buxton, Md./Boys Latin School) and Brian Schubert (Richmond, Va./Mills E. Godwin) were 6-0, 6-0 winners at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.

Lafayette returns to action on Saturday, hosting Franklin & Marshall at 1 p.m.
