WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 non-conference victory at Monmouth on Tuesday.

Susan King (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) picked up her first career win at second singles, 6-4, 6-3.

Chez Saricas (Stamford, Conn./Trinity Catholic), first singles, Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung (Westmoorings, Trinidad/International School Port of Spain), third singles, and Steph Rosman (Margate, N.J./Peddie), fifth singles, all recorded 6-0, 6-1 wins.

Leigh Pratt (Orinda, Calif./Miramonte) and Ali Kelley (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) were 6-0, 6-0 winners at fourth and fifth singles, respectively.

Saricas and Fung-Kee-Fung were 8-0 winners at first doubles, while the tandems of Pratt and Monika Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpaupak) and Kelley and Rosman both improved to 5-1 overall with 8-0 victories at second and third doubles, respectively.

Lafayette is off until Oct. 16, when La Salle visits Sullivan Courts at 4 p.m.
