LEWISBURG, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's tennis match with Bucknell came down to the doubles point and the Leopards fell victims to a 4-3 defeat on Thursday afternoon in Patriot League action.
Lafayette split the singles matches, as Chez Saricas, Monika Serrano and Ali Kelley each captured their respective flight. Saricas improved to a team-best 10-1 on the season, while Serrano bettered her mark to 9-2.
Saricas and Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung then teamed for an 8-3 win at No. 2 doubles, but Lafayette lost the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, so the Bison claimed the doubles point and went on to the win.
Lafayette (8-2, 0-2) returns to action on Sunday when Drexel visits Sullivan Courts for a 12 p.m. match.
