LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette women's tennis team defeated Rider, 7-0, in non-conference action on Monday afternoon.
Chez Saricas improved her singles record to 11-1 with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Amanda Doetsch at No. 1 singles. Monika Serrano found singles success for the 10th time this season, beating Dana Previti, 6-0, 6-0 in the fourth spot.
Lily Fardshisheh, Shannon Rowe, Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung and Ali Kelley also won singles matches for the Leopards.
Susan King and Stephanie Rosman teamed together for the first time this season to capture the No. 3 doubles with an 8-3 decision over Carolina Duval and Stefanie Petrasko.
Lafayette (9-2) hosts St. Peter's on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Sullivan Courts.
