BETHLEHEM, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette wrapped up its Patriot League season with a 4-3 defeat of rival Lehigh on Wednesday afternoon.
Lafayette won the doubles point, as Ryan Collins and Peter Titus captured the No. 1 match and H'Cone Thompson and Dan Seward won at No. 2 for the Leopards.
In singles play, Thompson put up a 6-3, 6-5 win in the top slot, while Matt Coin battled to a 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5) victory at No. 2. Dan Seward also played a close match at fifth singles, winning 7-6 (8), and 7-6 (5).
Lafayette improves to 14-4-1 and 2-3 in the Patriot League and close out the regular season on Thursday when St. Francis visits Sullivan Courts at 2:30 p.m.
