VILLANOVA, PA. (www.lafayette.edu) - The Lafayette men's tennis team hung on for a 4-3 victory over Villanova at the Villanova tennis complex on Thursday afternoon.

H'Cone Thompson and Matt Coin posted straight set victories in the top two singles spots for the Leopards, while Brett Warren added a decision at third singles in a hard-fought three-set match. Ryan Collins rounded out the Leopard singles by capturing the No. 4 match.

Villanova's Ricardo Baraldi and Carl Fenzl won the fifth and sixth singles and the Wildcats swept the doubles matches to earn the doubles point.

Lafayette (12-3-1) returns to Patriot League action on Saturday when Navy comes to Sullivan Courts for a 10 a.m. match.

6. Carl Fenzl (V) def. Peter Titus, 6-3, 6-7 (5), 6-4.

Doubles:
1. Devine/Lucas Kaster (V) def. Collins/Titus, 8-2.
2. Adams/Toppel (V) def. Thompson/Seward, 8-2.
3. Baraldi/Justin Goulet (V) def. Coin/John Zazzu, 8-6.
