TOWSON, Md. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team picked up its second victory in as many outings, taking a 7-0 decision over Towson on Wednesday.
The Leopards won all six singles matches in straight sets.
Chez Saricas (Stamford, Conn./Trinity Catholic), Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung (Westmoorings, Trinidad/International School Port of Spain), Monika Serrano (Caracas, Venezuela/Wallenpaupak and Leigh Pratt (Orinda, Calif/Miramonte) stayed unbeaten at first through fourth singles, respectively. Ali Kelley (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) won in her first outing at fifth singles, while Susan King (Spring Grove, Pa./Spring Grove) did the same at sixth singles.
Lafayette opens at home on Sept. 25, hosting Villanova at 3 p.m. at Sullivan Courts.
