BETHLEHEM, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team was handed a 7-0 defeat at Lehigh on Thursday.
Senior Ali Kelley (Little Silver, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) and sophomore Stephanie Rosman (Margate, N.J./Peddie) had the best showings of the night for the Leopards. Kelley dropped a 7-6, 6-4 decision at No. 4 singles, while Rosman suffered a 6-3, 6-3 loss at No. 5 singles.
Lehigh's Kristen Nowicki improved her singles record to 11-1 with a 6-2, 6-1 win at first singles.
Lafayette (10-6 overall, 0-2 Patriot League) hosts a pair of crucial Patriot League matches this weekend. Bucknell visits Sullivan Courts on Saturday at 1 p.m., while Colgate makes the trip to Easton for an 11 a.m. match on Sunday.
