EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision at American on Saturday. The loss was the Leopards' second in as many days; Lafayette also fell to Navy, 7-0, on Friday.

Peter Titus was the only Leopard to take his opponent to three sets on Saturday. He eventually succumbed to Guillaume Tarralle at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-7(3), 10-6.

The Eagles also won all three doubles pairings to earn the sweep.

On Friday, the Midshipmen won all nine pairings in the shutout win, but each of the first three singles flights either went three sets or involved a tiebreaker.

Andrew Mott and Stanley Kahl engaged in a marathon at No. 1 singles that Kahl eventually pulled out, 6-4, 4-6, 7-6(7-5). Ryan Osgood claimed a three-set win over Lafayette's Brett Warren at No. 2 singles, 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, while Titus forced a pair of tiebreakers before falling 7-6(7-4), 7-6(7-4) at No. 3 singles.

Lafayette (10-8 overall, 0-5 Patriot League) closes out the regular season at home against Lehigh on Tuesday at 3 p.m. at Sullivan Courts.
