PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team bounced Drexel, 7-0, on Friday in a match that was rained out on Thursday.
Lafayette won all nine matches for the shutout win, including claiming all six singles pairings in straight sets.
Chez Saricas (No. 1 singles), Meghan Fitzgerald (No. 4 singles) and Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung (No. 6 singles) all won by identical 6-1, 6-0 scores, while Stephanie Rosman was a 6-0, 6-1 winner at third singles.
Danielle Bailey picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles, while Ali Kelley was leading 6-1, 5-0 when her opponent retired with an injury.
Lafayette (11-9) closes out the regular season at St. Francis (N.Y.) next Thursday.
