EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team defeated Robert Morris, 6-1, on Sunday morning, then returned in the afternoon to down Rider by the same score to move to 3-0 on the young season.

Sophomore Andrew Mott, senior John Zazzu and freshmen Brett Kraft and Paul Guarino all won both of their singles matches in straight sets on Sunday.

Mott was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in the morning, then posted a 6-1, 6-2 win in the afternoon. Both of his wins were at No. 1 singles. Zazzu, playing third singles, won by scores of 6-1, 6-2 and 6-2, 6-0.

Kraft and Guarino both moved to 3-0 in singles action. Kraft won 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 singles against Robert Morris, then claimed a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 4 singles against Rider. Guarino won 6-0, 6-1 in the morning at sixth singles and 6-0, 6-2 at No. 5 in the afternoon.

The Leopards won all three doubles pairings against both Robert Morris and Rider.

Lafayette is back in action next weekend, visiting Siena on Saturday and Delaware State on Sunday.
