EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's and women's tennis teams were swept by Delaware in a make-up match on Monday at Sullivan Courts. The Blue Hens posted a narrow 4-3 win in the men's match, and took five of six singles matches for a 5-1 win on the women's side.

Lafayette and Delaware split the three singles pairings on the men's side, with the Blue Hens claiming two of three doubles matches to earn the decisive fourth team point.

Andrew Mott and Brett Warren were winners for Lafayette at No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively. Mott claimed a 6-4, 6-3 decision at the No. 1 flight, while Warren was a 6-4, 6-2 victor.

Freshman Brett Kraft picked up a win at No. 4 singles by a 6-1, 6-1 score. Mott and Paul Guarino teamed for Lafayette's lone doubles win, 9-7 at No. 1 doubles.

On the women's side, Danielle Bailey was the lone winner for Lafayette, claiming a 7-6(1), 6-2 decision at No. 6 singles. No doubles matches were played between the women's teams.

The Lafayette men (10-5) are back in action on Thursday, hosting American in a Patriot League match at 3 p.m. The women (5-5) travel to American on Friday at 2 p.m.
