WASHINGTON, D.C. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team won five of six singles pairings en route to a 6-1 Patriot League win at American on Friday.
Three Leopards posted wins in both singles and doubles action. Stephanie Rosman and Danielle Bailey claimed straight-set wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles, respectively, then teamed for an 8-3 decision at No. 3 doubles.
Jacqui Bonder posted a 7-5, 6-1 decision at No. 6 singles. She joined Chez Saricas for an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles.
Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung and Lauren Clarke also collected singles wins on Friday. Fung-Kee-Fung won a 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 2 singles, while Clarke rallied for a 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
Lafayette is back in action on Tuesday, visiting La Salle for a non-conference match at 3 p.m.
