SWARTHMORE, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's tennis team picked up a 5-2 win at Swarthmore on Thursday.
Sophomore Andrew Mott rallied for 6-7(7), 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles, then teamed with freshman Paul Guarino for a 9-7 win at No. 1 doubles. Guarino was also a 6-3, 6-1 winner at No. 6 singles.
Jeremy Fehrs and Brett Warren were also double-winners for the Leopards. Fehrs came from behind for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles, then teamed with Brett Kraft for an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles. Warren posted an identical score to Fehrs in winning No. 2 singles, then combined with John Zazzu for an 8-4 win at No. 3 doubles.
Lafayette (10-2) is back in action on Saturday, hosting Towson at 1 p.m.
