LEWISBURG, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's men's and women's tennis teams fell at Bucknell in Patriot League action on Sunday. The men dropped a 5-2 decision, while the women fell 7-0.

Sophomore Andrew Mott and freshman Brett Kraft recorded wins at No. 1 and No. 4 singles in the men's match. Mott was a 6-2, 6-3 winner, while Kraft posted a 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 win.

The men's match was tightly contested throughout, with the team scores hinging on a handful of points. Freshman Paul Guarino fell to Bucknell's Joe Menezes at No. 6 singles, 1-6, 6-3, 10-2, while two of the doubles pairings were decided by two points or less. Asher Salam and Ira Reibeisen picked up a 9-7 win for Bucknell at No. 1 doubles, while Menezes and Nick Denefrio were 9-8(8) winners at No. 2 doubles.

On the women's side, Bucknell swept all six singles matches and the three doubles matches. Chez Saricas was the lone Lafayette player to go to three sets in singles action, falling 6-7, 6-4, 10-5 at No. 1 singles.

The Lafayette women are back in action on Tuesday, hosting Lehigh at 3 p.m. The men visit Loyola on Thursday at 3 p.m.
