EASTON, Pa. (www.lafayette.edu) - Lafayette's women's tennis team dropped a 5-0 decision at Rutgers on Thursday. The Scarlet Knights claimed all four singles matches and the lone doubles pairing.
The loss snaps a three-match winning streak for the Leopards.
Rutgers set the tone for the day with a 6-2, 6-2 win in the doubles match, then claimed all four singles matches in straight sets.
Lafayette (8-6) returns to Patriot League play on Friday, visiting Army at 3 p.m.
