WEST POINT, N.Y. (www.lafayette.edu) - Army claimed all six singles pairings and all three doubles matches in a 7-0 Patriot League women's tennis win over Lafayette on Friday.
Freshman Jacqui Bonder nearly forced a third set at No. 6 singles, falling 6-1, 7-6(6).
In doubles, Bonder and Chez Saricas suffered their first loss as a tandem, falling 8-2 at No. 2 doubles. Lisa Fung-Kee-Fung and Lauren Clarke fell 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.
Lafayette (8-7 overall, 1-2 Patriot League) is back in action on Sunday, visiting Bucknell at 1 p.m.
