EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team picked up a 7-0 win against La Salle on Friday at its first home meet in nearly a month.
Ansley Scudder set the standard by claiming both her sets, 6-0, against Christina Gomez in the first singles. The Leopards had no trouble following her lead. The rest of the team won at least one set without dropping a single game.
Lafayette continued to dominate the court in doubles competition. Allie Seranko and Caitlin Gordon posted an 8-1 victory. Emily DeLuca and Kristie Cavanagh paired up for an 8-2 win and Katherine Charchalis and Abby Wilkenfeld won their first match of the season, 8-0.
The Leopards host Wagner at 3 p.m. on Monday before starting the conference season on Saturday at Army.
