EASTON, Pa. - The Lafayette women's tennis team opened their spring season taking down St. Joe's 3-2 on Saturday afternoon at Northwood Club. The Leopard men were unable to get the victory falling 4-1 to St. Joes.

Caitlin Gordon defeated Laura Matz in a three-set victory, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5 at No. 2 singles. Kelsey Grad also won her match beating Sally Kalani Stainier, 6-0, 6-1.

In the doubles match up Kristie Cavanagh and Katherine Charchalis defeated Tara Walsh and Jenna Procyk 6-1, 3-6, 6-2.

On the men's side, he Leopards lone win came from No. 3 singles Doug Gallagher who defeated Matt Prusack, 6-3, 6-3.
