The Lafayette's men's tennis team lost its spring season debut (2-1) against Boston College on Saturday, 2-1.
Justin Haar and Scott Gelbman put together Lafayette's strongest performance among the singles matches. Haar dropped his first set 7-6 and his second 6-1 to Brian Locklear, while Gelbman fell 6-3 in his first set and 7-6 in his second against Adam Davison.
The Leopard men will host St. Joseph's on Feb. 20 and West Chester on Feb. 27. The women will open their spring season when they welcome St. Joseph's to Easton on Feb. 20 as well.
