The Lafayette men's tennis team ended the spring season with a 6-1 win over Fordham Tuesday afternoonneti. The Leopards head into the Patriot League Tournament as the sixth seed this weekend with a record of 7-11, (1-5).
At No. 6 singles, senior James Murphy only allowed his opponent Eli Plangger to earn one point in both matches as he defeated Plangger 6-1, 6-1.
At No. 3 doubles, Andrew Morris and partner Scott Gelbman teamed up to defeat Ben Kelly and his partner Rob Evans 8-3.
The Lafayette men finished sixth in the league and travel to Lewisburg, Pa. for the Patriot League Tournament to take on No. 3 Bucknell on Friday at 1 p.m.
