ANNAPOLIS, Md. - The Lafayette women's tennis team saw its season come to an end at the hands of Bucknell on Friday afternoon in the quarterfinals of the Patriot League Championships.

The No. 6 Leopards were swept, 6-0, but the third-seeded Bison. Due to the Patriot League Championship format, in which advancing teams will play on as many as three consecutive days, not all matches were completed after the Bison clinched the victory.

Bucknell took the doubles point with wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 spots. Katherine Charchalis and Austin Denesuk were tied, 5-5, at No. 2 doubles when the Bison clinched the point and the match was stopped.

In singles action, five Leopards lost their matches in straight sets.
